Journey to a million: UCAS is forecasting that by 2026, there will be over a million undergraduate applicants. This is due to the increasing 18 year old population, increased demand from overseas, and increasing mature participation. This increase in applicants brings with it a range of opportunities and challenges, with considerations around competition and widening access. This session will explore what the impacts of this change might be for HE, what it means for your students, and what effect it might have on the way you support and advise your future applicants.
