The Annual Conference for Teachers and Advisers 2021

Current students share their experience of blended learning and how student life, assessments and engaging with peers/academics have adapted now they are learning remotely. The session aims to promote the benefits of blended learning and ease teachers’ advisers’ concerns regarding new approaches to teaching and learning in HE. Students will showcase examples of blended learning, and as a result, teachers and advisers will be better informed of the ways in which universities are adapting their approaches following the impact of Covid-19. The session will also highlight the benefits of HE study and will provide teachers and advisers with important takeaway messages on the value of HE. Teachers and advisers will be able to ask questions of the students, thus gaining a real insight into the ‘new student life’.
