The Annual Conference for Teachers and Advisers 2021

Recent events have highlighted the need for educators to examine the curriculum and the need for it to change to reflect the diverse and interconnected world we live in. Meanwhile, over the past five years universities have been steadily working towards diversifying the curriculum. This change has been primarily led by student demand and in response to the OfS’s call that we reduce the BAME attainment gap. In this workshop we will explore what steps the University of Greenwich have taken to achieve this and what we have learnt in the process.

You will have the opportunity to:

• learn how we have applied the Inclusive Curriculum Framework to individual modules
• review case studies from a range of modules
• discuss opportunities for change within your own schools and colleges

We hope this workshop will generate ideas on how you can imbed equality into your own curriculums by offering a more inclusive perspective for the benefit of all students.
