Commenting on the Social Mobility and Child Poverty Commission report Data and public policy: trying to make progress blindfolded published today (20 March 2015) Mary Curnock Cook, UCAS Chief Executive said:

 

“We are committed to using the value of UCAS’ rich data sets to assist public understanding of social policy issues. The report acknowledges the challenges UCAS faces in maintaining the trust of users of our services when sharing our data. The recommendations for arrangements which facilitate data sharing without compromising this trust are very welcome.”
