Hi, I am currently a 2nd year student at Brunel studying Industrial Design. I loved living on campus in my first year, and took advantage of all the societies and sports that Brunel has on offer. I enjoy taking pottery classes at the Brunel Art Centre and have also learnt to sail through the sailing club. I am really enjoying my course and university life and am very happy to answer any questions you may have.

Computer Science
Hey there! I'm a second-year computer science student from Tanzania. When I'm not buried in code, you can find me on the football field, shooting hoops on the basketball court, or battling it out in online battle royale games—I'm a bit of a gaming enthusiast. I've also got a thing for cars, their mechanics and design fascinate me. What really excites me, though, is the idea of merging my interests with artificial intelligence. The thought of blending manual processes with AI tech gets me fired up. So, fellow future students, remember that your passions can lead you to exciting places, and I can't wait to explore this journey with you!

Medicine
I am originally from Taiwan and I have lived in UK for 7 years. I am now 2nd-year MBBS student at Brunel Medical School, and I did Public Health and Evidence-Based Medicine in my previous degrees. I am the President of Brunel Medical Society (MedSoc) for 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. I also work part-time for the Complex Diabetes Weight Management Programme in NHS hospital. My special interests in medicine include Paediatrics, Family Medicine, Cardiology and Neurology.
I chose to study Medicine because I love science and art, and Medicine is the perfect combination of both. I particularly love the Brunel MBBS Team-Based Learning model (TBL) as it guides my learning journey as a medical student very well. The early placement opportunity since Year 1 has been the most rewarding learning experience for me so far.

Psychology
Hello everyone :)
My name is Julia and I came to Brunel University from Poland. After mandatory studies I took 3-year break from academic education, while I was traveling and working abroad (among others as a windsurfing instructor). Currently I'm living on campus with a plan to live off campus next year. In the future I'd like to pursue my career in the field of Clinical Psychology, Cognitive Psychology or Neuropsychology. I've always been interested in people's behaviour and how the human brain works, so these fields are a perfect combination for me.

Environmental Sciences
Hi everyone! I am Ovidiu Alexa, a Romanian-Italian EU student of BSc Environmental Sciences at Brunel University London. I am currently in the third year of my course and I will be graduating in 2024.
I decided to kickstart my academic career in environmental science because the environment nowadays is a key topic, and is linked to many of the challenges mankind is currently facing, such as climate change.
Brunel University is a heterogeneous place that allows me to grow professionally, but also socially. I am part of different societies and I am involved in various academic activities, including research.
During my first year, I lived on campus, but at the beginning of the second year I moved into a shared house.
If you have any questions about the university itself, or your academic/social life, please feel free to get in contact, I will be happy to help.
