Today UCAS publishes the first monthly application statistics for the 2014 UCAS Teacher Training (UTT) cycle.

UTT is a new, single admissions system for postgraduate teacher training, covering Higher Education, SCITT, School Direct and School Direct (salaried) programmes.

Applicants have been able to submit applications for all 2014 UTT courses since 21 November 2013.

The statistics are available from the UCAS Teacher Training page in the Data and analysis section of the UCAS website. A list of publication dates for future releases in this cycle has also been published.

Each monthly publication comprises of two reports. Report A covers applicants (the number of people in the scheme) and report B looks at the number of applications (as each person can choose to make multiple choices within the scheme).  As this is the first year of UTT, the statistics cover the 2014 cycle only.
