UCAS is pleased to become an education partner of CASE Europe and to sponsor the CASE Universities’ Marketing Forum (UMF). The partnership provides the opportunity for senior higher education professionals to engage with UCAS, its student data and insights to shape and deliver their marketing with the aim of advancing professional marketing and communications in the higher education sector.

Mark Garratt, Chair of UMF, said ‘We are absolutely delighted that UCAS has chosen to be an education partner of CASE Europe and to sponsor UMF. Having UCAS on board will help our higher education community shape its strategies going forward and is a great step forward in giving the marketing & recruitment teams a stronger voice in the sector’.

Dr. Katie Bell, Chief Marketing Officer at UCAS, said ‘UCAS is delighted to support the UMF. Working with the universities’ marketing leaders, we can use our data, insights and relationship with students to help inform universities' marketing strategies, nationally and internationally. I am also hoping that we can collaboratively develop some marketing campaigns to raise the profile of higher and degree apprenticeships and further help students understand the choices that are available to them.’

UMF is a voluntary association of university directors of UK marketing and recruitment from the higher education (HE) sector, hosted by CASE – the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

The forum advocates the exchange of ideas amongst HE marketers in order to advance best marketing practice in the sector and develop marketing staff; supports the development of professional knowledge and skills among marketing staff in member institutions; lobbies and liaises with professional and governmental bodies to encourage the development of the profession and works within the sector to increase the understanding and use of marketing principles.
