How to keep up-to-date with your students’ applications

Adviser Track 2017 goes live on 1 November 2016.
Posted Tue 4 October 2016 - 11:39

Once you have become a UCAS centre, you will have access to Apply for advisers for free, where you can monitor and check your students’ applications. In addition, you have the opportunity to purchase Adviser Track, which you can use to track uni decisions, advise your students, and make sure they don't miss reply deadlines.

As part of an Adviser Track subscription, you also receive Applicant Status Reports (ASRs) and Final Destination Reports (FDRs).

  • Applicant Status Reports (ASRs) are updated every Saturday, and give a snapshot of your students’ applications, to date. Don’t forget, you can access a daily update through the ‘Search for apps’ feature in Adviser Track.
  • Final Destination Reports replace the ASRs towards the end of the cycle, due to the high number of changes of applicant destinations at this time. The latest Final Destination Report is now available to download in Apply for advisers 2017, until 28 October.

Simply complete the online form to activate your order (costs £50 per year + VAT).

Reporting just got easier

We’ve revamped our Progression Report (includes the Offers Report), which reveals not only which university a student progressed on to, but also the offers they received. It now includes a key statistic summary, making it easier to understand and share your results.

In 2016/17, the Progression Report will be released in two parts, so advisers can access as much information as soon as possible. Part one includes centre details, plus the individual choice and applicant-level CSV files, and will be sent to subscribers in mid-November. Part two includes a report for the whole sector, and will be available from early January 2017.

Sign up for our Silver package, and you’ll get Adviser Track and the Progression Report for £191 + VAT (a saving of £39).

Or, if you’re keen to see how your school stacks up against others, why not opt for our Competitor Report too? Now available earlier than ever before, in January 2017. This report now features a summary of your key statistics, making it even easier to compare your centre’s destination data against other centres chosen by you, with a maximum comparison of 25 centres. Data includes subjects applied for, acceptances, and a breakdown of applicant characteristics, such as age, gender, ethnicity, and Tariff band.

With our Gold package you’ll get access to Adviser Track, the Progression Report, and the Competitor Report for £243 + VAT (a saving of £72).

Take a look at our Adviser Track and Reporting brochure (396.74 KB) for more information on the reports available and the latest news on Adviser Track, or email us at ucasmediaschoolsteam@ucas.ac.uk.
