Medicine
I am originally from Taiwan and I have lived in UK for 7 years. I am now 2nd-year MBBS student at Brunel Medical School, and I did Public Health and Evidence-Based Medicine in my previous degrees. I am the President of Brunel Medical Society (MedSoc) for 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. I also work part-time for the Complex Diabetes Weight Management Programme in NHS hospital. My special interests in medicine include Paediatrics, Family Medicine, Cardiology and Neurology.
I chose to study Medicine because I love science and art, and Medicine is the perfect combination of both. I particularly love the Brunel MBBS Team-Based Learning model (TBL) as it guides my learning journey as a medical student very well. The early placement opportunity since Year 1 has been the most rewarding learning experience for me so far.
