After my degree, I'm hoping to train as a teacher and after a few years, enroll in a masters course!

    Hi, I’m Gabriel and I’m a first year Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence student. I have always been obsessed with computers and knew I wanted to go into the industry from quite a young age. University was the obvious choice to me; it gave me a good path towards my future career and the whole aspect of it appealed to me. The best thing about university is being able to study a subject you're passionate about surrounded by others who feel the same. I am still unsure as to exactly which area of computer science I want to go into, but this is common, and I still have a few years of university left to help me figure this out.     Hi! I'm an international student from Northern California finishing the 4th year of my integrated MEng degree. On campus, I have been involved with the Formula Student team, Sussex Racing, and was the Commercial Director. I have also been the Co-Captain of the University's Women's Volleyball team for the past two years. When I have the opportunity, and the weather permits, I enjoy hiking around campus in the South Downs.

    My name is Emma Jade and I'm a 22-year-old Swedish-Malaysian student currently studying Medical Neuroscience. I've also spent a lot of my time growing up in China! When I graduate I'm hoping to go into policy reform and/or the civil service. I had an unusual journey in university - I started out studying Medicine at BSMS to become a doctor until I realised that wasn't for me, and now I'm finally studying what I want to and I couldn't be happier with my decision. When I'm not doing sciency things I love engrossing myself in art - whether that's writing poetry and music, or taking a day trip to London to see an art exhibition at the Tate Modern!
